Manufrance Hunting Jacket
Rare vintage hunting jacket.
From famous french brand Manufrance (Saint Etienne, France).
Manufrance is a pioneer in the fields of distance selling in France, shipping paper catalogs to french people starting in 1885. Specialized in weapons, hunting gears and bikes. They were originally steel masters.
Made of water-repellent material called Colam (100% cotton) used for fishing and hunting jacket at that time.
The fabrics was manufactured by a company called Colamtiss based in North of France (Chappelle d'Armentières).
This jacket has six pockets:
- an inside pocket,
- four flapped front pockets,
- on rear, an inside poacher pocket with 2 buttons.
Killer embroidered "Manufrance" label.
Great "Colam" label on inside pocket.
Typical animals buttons made by manufacturer called MFBP based in Grenoble, France.
Interesting construction and details (sleeves, poacher pocket, collar)
Amazing patina, sun faded.
Great condition.
Made in France.
